{"id":1025,"date":"2013-01-20T01:18:11","date_gmt":"2013-01-20T01:18:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lincaa.org\/?p=1025"},"modified":"2020-05-15T15:00:25","modified_gmt":"2020-05-15T20:00:25","slug":"picpc-minutes-januarary-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lincaa.org\/?p=1025","title":{"rendered":"PI\/CPC Minutes \u2013 Januarary 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Attendance: Kjerstin, Bernice, Amanda, Jeff, Jessi<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Still working on getting pamphlets out to hospitals<\/li>\n<li>Bernice has a letter typed up to send out to treatment facilities (to provide assistant to STAFF)\n<ul>\n<li>Will call centers in the next week or so to get a good email to send letter to<\/li>\n<li>Has a flier (from GSO, what is AA) to send with it\n<ul>\n<li>She will send this out the committee members first so we can see it<\/li>\n<li>Changed March and May meetings to the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Sunday<\/li>\n<li>Kjerstin will send phones lists to Diversion and Probation<\/li>\n<li>Drug Court\n<ul>\n<li>For the first time through meetings: have 1 PICPC member, 1 Drug Court graduate\/participant, and someone from treatment committee and\/or corrections committee.<\/li>\n<li>Meeting will start in March\n<ul>\n<li>1<sup>st<\/sup> Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Structure of meeting\n<ul>\n<li>10 minutes \u2013 speakers\/facilitators share story (qualify)<\/li>\n<li>40 minutes \u2013 Topic<\/li>\n<li>10 minutes \u2013 questions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Topics\n<ul>\n<li>1. New to AA\n<ul>\n<li>Get a sponsor<\/li>\n<li>What Big Book looks like<\/li>\n<li>Home group<\/li>\n<li>Fellowship<\/li>\n<li>Reaching out you hand<\/li>\n<li>Come early\/stay late<\/li>\n<li>Pamphlet: \u201cMembers view of AA\u201d \u2013 Hoads will bring to next meeting<\/li>\n<li>Information on AA \u2013 Bernice will bring to next meting<\/li>\n<li>12 questions \u201cAm I an alcoholic?\u201d \u2013 Amanda will bring to next meeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>2. Sponsorship\n<ul>\n<li>How to find one<\/li>\n<li>What you had to do when new (facilitators share)<\/li>\n<li>What sponsorship is\/is not<\/li>\n<li>How facilitators sponsor<\/li>\n<li>Stepwork<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>3.
