{"id":1917,"date":"2018-06-27T19:44:39","date_gmt":"2018-06-28T00:44:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lincaa.org\/?p=1917"},"modified":"2020-05-12T12:09:31","modified_gmt":"2020-05-12T17:09:31","slug":"intergroup-meeting-minutes-may-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lincaa.org\/?p=1917","title":{"rendered":"Intergroup Meeting Minutes &#8211; May 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>May Intergroup Meeting<\/p>\n<p>May 31, 2018 \u2013 Start at 6:30 PM \u2013 14 in attendance<\/p>\n<p>Traditions: Read by Ryan<\/p>\n<p>April minutes read by Lindsay<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Motion to pass<\/li>\n<li>2<sup>nd<\/sup> received<\/li>\n<li>Minutes passed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Treasury:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No adjustments to April preliminatry report<\/li>\n<li>4 contributions received in May<\/li>\n<li>No expenses<\/li>\n<li>See May 2018 Treasurer\u2019s report for additional information<\/li>\n<li>Typo in May 2018 report \u2013 it should read forward from April 2018 (instead of March 2018)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Corrections:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chair is still vacant; lookiong for volunteers<\/li>\n<li>City\/state needs potential female volunteers<\/li>\n<li>June meting is postponed to June 12 (2<sup>nd<\/sup> Tuesday of the month)<\/li>\n<li>Scrubbed monthly report sent to web chair<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>PICPC:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Balance is $496.19<\/li>\n<li>Discussed PI posters\/cards at last meeting \u2013 why it is not considered promotion\n<ul>\n<li>Committee asked for feedback as it relations to promotion vs attraction<\/li>\n<li>Discussion held: we are an anonymous society; not a secret society<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Treatment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No report<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hotline:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No report<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Website:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Renewed website for another year for $155.88<\/li>\n<li>Website address \u2013 <a href=\"mailto:lincaa.webmaster@gmail.com\">lincaa.webmaster@gmail.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Discussed what fliers can be posted to website; feedback included: no names on the flier, event would need to have a meeting, fliers associated with district or group events<\/li>\n<li>Web chair advised of where the website shows Intergroup meets on Friday; it will be updated to read Thursday<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Special Events:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Need help with the raffle \u2013 it would be helpful if groups donated<\/li>\n<li>3 committees \u2013 give a several minute talk before speaker; table inside shelter with brochures\/ways to contact the committee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>District 3: No report<\/p>\n<p>District 21: Still planning Unity picnic; VanDorn Park on July 28. Food at 11:30; meeting from 12-3. Still planning speakers<\/p>\n<p>District 22: Still looking for Intergroup Rep; fall workshop related to Grapevine being planning; district voted to allow groups planning events\/anniversary to ask district for raffle donation<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>District 29: last meeting included conversation regarding sales tax topic at the Area level; planning Reunon.
