{"id":358,"date":"2009-12-20T22:49:16","date_gmt":"2009-12-20T22:49:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lincaa.org\/?p=358"},"modified":"2020-05-15T15:51:06","modified_gmt":"2020-05-15T20:51:06","slug":"district-21-december-2009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lincaa.org\/?p=358","title":{"rendered":"District 21 &#8211; December 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>December 20, 2009<\/p>\n<p>Open at 4:30 with 12 Traditions<\/p>\n<p>Secretary\u2019s Report (Matt S.): &nbsp;Approved as read<\/p>\n<p>Treasurer\u2019s Report: &nbsp;Treasurer did not show to meeting, so no report<\/p>\n<p>Intergroup Report (Pat D.): &nbsp;See Attached.<\/p>\n<p>GSR Reports:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Spirtual Actions (Jay D., Emily S.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good attendance at the quarterly speaker meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sufficient Substitute (Sam R.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good turn out at their anniversary meeting.<\/li>\n<li>Their meeting attendance is steady and regular.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pocket of Enthusiasm (Demetra S.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Will fund an interpreter for the hearing impaired on the 1st week of the month if schedules work out for those participating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Seeking Solutions (Amy Z.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attendance is up to 80-90 people. &nbsp;The anniversary breakfast will be February 27th , 2010 from 9-11 am.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DCM Report (Amy Z.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DCM is researching district boundaries, and the meetings that are in them, since there is no definitive map showing this information.<\/li>\n<li>Suggestion made to give completed mapping information to area, so it can be posted on the website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>District business<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Old Business<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Motion to move January District 21 meeting to January 10 due to Area Assembly. Motion seconded and passed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>New Business<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sufficient substitute is submitting an agenda item at the next Area Assembly. &nbsp;\u201cThe Area 41 newsletter only include background material on agenda items when the item is up for vote.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>District will vote on the new voting items at the January 10th District meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Next District meeting is January 10th at 4:30<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">District 21 Intergroup Report (Pat D.)<\/p>\n<p>Intergroup Treasury<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ending Balance $ 2258.68<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>District and group info<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dist. 22 still needs payment for great paradox workshop.<\/li>\n<li>Pockets of enthusiasm and spiritual actions checks have not cleared at the district level.<\/li>\n<li>Dist. 29 is looking for topics for the four corners workshop in may.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Webpage<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The new web host is \u201cGo Daddy\u201d, which is cheaper and provides the same services.<\/li>\n<li>There has been discussion of putting a link on linkaa webpage for recovery.org.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Special events<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Special events is changing their meeting time from 10:30am to 1 pm on the third Sunday of the month.<\/li>\n<li>They still need help.<\/li>\n<li>The alcathon fliers are out.<\/li>\n<li>The Christmas party had 80-90 people in attendance and lost $37.55. &nbsp;However, the alcathon bought the remaining water and popcorn, so the Christmas party made $13.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hotline<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matt C. is currently the intergroup hotline co-chair until the end of January.<\/li>\n<li>A new co-chair is still needed for the hotline. &nbsp;Ron R. is the new corrections committee chair.<\/li>\n<li>Their balance is $219.98.<\/li>\n<li>Sign up sheets for the hotline need to be dropped off at the cental office by January 31st for the 1st quarter of 2010.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Corrections<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chad O. and Joe G. are holding meetings at the county jail.<\/li>\n<li>CCL drivers no longer need to attend a workshop to pick up inmates. &nbsp;They only need to fill out an application and have a background check.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>December 20, 2009 Open at 4:30 with 12 Traditions Secretary\u2019s Report (Matt S.): &nbsp;Approved as read Treasurer\u2019s Report: &nbsp;Treasurer did not show to meeting, so no report Intergroup Report (Pat D.): &nbsp;See Attached.
