The Treatment Committee helps carry the A.A. message to alcoholics in treatment facilities and helps connect those leaving treatment with the A.A. community.

A key part of this service is Bridging the Gap—helping make the transition from a treatment setting to A.A. in the community a little easier.

What We Do

Committee members may:

  • Participate in or chair A.A. meetings in treatment facilities
  • Provide A.A. speakers and Conference-approved literature
  • Help people leaving treatment connect with A.A. meetings in the community
  • Serve as temporary contacts through Bridging the Gap
  • Help coordinate transportation or connect individuals with A.A. members willing to provide rides to meetings

Get Involved

Any A.A. member interested in helping carry the message in treatment settings is welcome to participate.

The Treatment Committee meets:

Third Thursday of each month at 6:15 p.m.
The Meeting Place – Basement
2748 S Street
Lincoln, NE

The committee meets separately from the monthly Lincoln Intergroup meeting and reports its activities back to Intergroup.
